The Pikes Peak Pet Pantry was
started by a concerned citizen who had an idea on how to
help people keep their pet when facing a financial hardship.
There might come a time when you have to decide whether you
can feed your family or your pet. Or perhaps you're
considering finding your pet a new home because you're
unable to feed them until you're next paycheck. We
are here to help.
We accept donations of both cat and dog food, as well as kitty litter, and redistribute it to the community in hopes of reducing the number of homeless pets. Even if the bag of food is open, we'll accept it. Did you have to buy a different bag of food because your cat just didn't like the first? We can put it to good use! We hope to offer more programs to help off-set the cost of a pet in the future. These programs will be designed to offer low cost services such as grooming and veterinary care. Our goal is to serve the public. We are only able to help those in need so much with our limited funding, so if you are interested in helping the Pantry, please consider making a DONATION.
